PROJECT AIR
Design For Mind, Body & Soul
Project Air unfolds in soft jade greens, blush pink tones, and earthy neutrals. Guided by the 639 Hz healing frequency, the space is shaped to restore harmony, inner peace, and support the heart chakra.

Nature drifts in seamlessly, transforming the interior into a green oasis of daylight, greenery, and subtle fractal patterning. Bamboo, plaster, and rattan are formed into fluid, organic expressions that breathe with lightness and natural cadence, echoing Art Nouveau’s reverence for living form.

Holistic and regenerative in approach, the design treats space as an interconnected landscape, where material, form, and rhythm work together to support the nervous system, encourage longevity, and nurture a grounded, restorative way of living.

The design embodies the element of air and Anahata, carrying the quiet rhythm of movement, wind, and natural grace.

Guided by Anahata, the heart chakra - centre of love, balance, and emotional harmony.

A Space for Calm Living
Grounded in evidence-based design, neuroaesthetics, and environmental psychology, Project Air is shaped to support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and overall wellbeing.

PROJECT CONTEXT
Project Approach
Developed using Studio Selia’s holistic interior design method, integrating research, human-centred design, material intelligence, and sensory-led development.

Project Brief

Explore how a wellbeing-led interior can support emotional regulation, calm living, and nervous system balance across private homes, wellness spaces, and retreat settings.

The design is informed by research into how humans perceive, feel, and recover within environments, and how form, light, materiality, and pattern influence mood, stress levels, and cognitive ease. Every decision is guided by the intention to create a calm, supportive, and restorative sensory experience.

Natural daylight, biophilic patterning, and fractal influences are woven into the rhythm of the interior to reduce stress, support mood regulation, and enhance cognitive ease. Regenerative materials such as bamboo, plaster, and rattan are selected not only for sustainability, but for the way they contribute to tactile comfort, acoustic softness, and a gentle, natural atmosphere.

Timber flooring introduces warmth and grounding, while green fractal-patterned wallpaper supports visual calm and connection to nature. Linen upholstery, layered textiles, and acoustic furniture pieces soften sound, improve comfort, and contribute to a quieter, more enveloping environment.

Together, these elements create a space designed for the senses, where visual harmony, tactile softness, natural materials, and sound absorption work in balance to support rest, restoration, and long-term wellbeing.

A place that encourages slower living, emotional ease, and a deeper sense of belonging.

Wellness-Led Interior
KEY DESIGN RESPONSES
Biophilic Calm & Fractal Patterning
Biophilic elements and fractal patterning are integrated to support visual comfort, reduce stress, and encourage mental ease. Green tonal layering, vegetation, and organic pattern language create a subtle connection to nature that feels immersive yet gentle.
Material Warmth & Sensory Comfort
Natural materials are selected for their warmth, texture, and sensory qualities. Bamboo, rattan, plaster, timber, and linen create a tactile environment that feels soft, grounding, and inherently calming.
Acoustic Softness & Quiet Living
Layered textiles and upholstered furniture support acoustic softness and reduce harsh sound reflections. The environment feels quieter, slower, and more contained, supporting rest and emotional regulation.
