HEALING FRAMEWORK

Our Healing Framework is a holistic approach to understanding the relationship between the person and the space around them.

It brings together inner healing and the home environment, looking at how the body, mind, energy and surroundings can support balance, restoration and emotional wellbeing.

This is where healing and home meet.

HEALING

DEEP HEALING FOR BODY, MIND AND SOUL

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that healing begins within.

Through Reiki, chakra alignment, BQH and energy work, we connect with the body’s energy system and the deeper layers of the subconscious. This work supports the nervous system, gently releases what has been held, and creates space for emotional healing.

Healing can bring awareness to old patterns, suppressed emotions, stored memories and parts of ourselves that have been pushed away or left unheard. Through this process, the body is given space to soften, release and return to balance.

Whether someone is ready to work through emotional blocks, reconnect with themselves, or simply feel more calm and centred, we meet them where they are and guide them gently toward inner alignment.

This is inner alignment: the process of softening, listening and allowing the body, mind and energy to return to a more natural state of calm.

HOME

WHEN THE HOME BECOMES PART OF HEALING

The home is part of the environment your body responds to every day. Light, colour, materials, layout, furniture and atmosphere can all influence how safe, calm, grounded and restored you feel.

Through an evidence-based design approach, we look at how the home can better support the nervous system, mood and emotional balance.

Drawing on biophilic design, neuroaesthetic design and environmental psychology, we consider how each design decision may affect the body and mind.

Furniture is considered in the same way. Natural materials, organic forms and sensory details are chosen not only for how they look, but for how they feel, function and sit within the wider energy of the room.

This is outer alignment: shaping the home so it can better support the body, energy and life within it. Mind, body and soul are considered in every decision.

WHERE HEALING AND HOME MEET

It is a holistic approach, where we work with the whole person and the whole space, considering the psychological, physical, emotional and energetic wellbeing of those within it.

Through energy healing, we tend to the body and the energy that moves through it. Through the home, we work with the environment around you, shaping a space that can better support the body.

Rather than treating the home as separate from the person, we look at how the inner state and outer environment reflect and affect each other. The aim is to create spaces that feel aligned with the person living within them, emotionally, energetically and physically.

This is the foundation of our Healing Framework: inner alignment and outer alignment working together.

It is a way of understanding the relationship between the person and the space around them, creating conditions that support balance, restoration and a deeper sense of wellbeing.

Form follows the body

Form follows the body, interior design, Studio Selia Healing Design Framework

Our philosophy, form follows the body, guides us to prioritise the body first. We begin with you, your energy, your nervous system and what your body needs to feel supported. Through energy healing, we listen to what the body is carrying and what it needs to restore. We ask what nurtures health, what supports balance, and what helps you come back to a place of calm. Everything else follows from there.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does "form follows the body" mean?

Form follows the body is Studio Selia’s design philosophy.

Instead of beginning with trends, style or appearance, we begin with the body. We ask what supports the nervous system, what nurtures health, what helps the body soften, and what allows someone to feel calm, grounded and restored.

What is energy healing?

Energy healing works with the body’s energy system to support balance, flow and emotional wellbeing.

At Studio Selia, this may include Reiki, chakra alignment and deeper healing work such as BQH. These practices can help bring awareness to old patterns, suppressed emotions, stored memories and energetic blocks.

The intention is not to force healing, but to create space for the body and energy to soften, release and return to balance.

What is chakra alignment?

Chakra alignment is the process of assessing and rebalancing the body's seven main energy centres. Each chakra relates to different aspects of physical, emotional and energetic health.

What is the Healing Framework?

The Healing Framework is Studio Selia’s approach to healing and home. It brings together inner alignment and outer alignment, looking at both the body and the environment around it.

Through energy healing, we support the body, mind and energy system. Through the home, we consider how light, colour, materials, layout, furniture and atmosphere can support calm, balance and wellbeing. It is a way of understanding the person and the space as connected, rather than separate.

How does the home affect wellbeing?

The home is not passive. It is constantly shaping how the body feels.

Natural light, colour, materials, proportion, layout, texture, scent and sound can all influence the nervous system, mood, sleep, stress levels and emotional balance.

Through holistic and evidence informed design, we look at how the home can support the whole person: physically, emotionally, energetically and psychologically.
